Title: A Journey by Train

Travelling is always a source of pleasure and knowledge. Among all types of journeys, a journey by train is one of the most enjoyable and interesting experiences. It is cheaper and safer than other modes of transport and allows us to enjoy nature closely. Last summer vacation, I had the opportunity to enjoy a memorable journey by train, and the experience is still fresh in my mind.
It was during the Eid vacation when my parents decided to visit my grandparents who live in Chattogram. We planned to go by train from Dhaka. The date was fixed, and I was eagerly waiting for the day. On the morning of our journey, we woke up early and reached Kamalapur Railway Station around 6:00 a.m. The station was crowded with passengers. Some were waiting in line for tickets, some were buying snacks, and others were looking for their respective trains. The scene was full of life.
After about half an hour, our train, ‘Subarna Express’, arrived with a loud whistle. We quickly boarded the train and found our seats. Luckily, I got a window seat which made me very happy. Soon the train started moving slowly and then gained speed. As I looked out of the window, the cityscape began to fade away and the green countryside welcomed us.
The view outside was breathtaking. The train passed through villages, fields, rivers, and small stations. I saw farmers working in the fields, fishermen catching fish, and children waving at the train. The cool breeze and the rhythmic sound of the wheels created a magical feeling. I took some photos with my phone to capture the memories.
Inside the train, the atmosphere was lively but peaceful. Some passengers were talking, some were reading books or newspapers, while others were enjoying snacks. Vendors were moving from coach to coach, selling tea, coffee, fruits, and other items. I had some biscuits and a cup of tea, which made the journey even more enjoyable.
After about seven hours of travel, we finally reached Chattogram station around 2:00 p.m. We collected our bags and left the station. My grandfather was already there to receive us. Though I was a bit tired, my heart was full of joy and excitement.
Conclusion: A journey by train is a wonderful experience. It not only refreshes the mind but also gives us a chance to enjoy nature and learn about different places and people. This train journey was one of the best experiences of my life, and I hope to enjoy many more such journeys in the future.

ভ্রমণ মানুষের মনকে প্রফুল্ল করে এবং জ্ঞান অর্জনের পথ খুলে দেয়। সকল ধরনের ভ্রমণের মধ্যে ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ সবচেয়ে আনন্দদায়ক ও আরামদায়ক। এটি অপেক্ষাকৃত সাশ্রয়ী, নিরাপদ এবং প্রকৃতিকে খুব কাছ থেকে দেখার সুযোগ দেয়। গত গ্রীষ্মের ছুটিতে আমি একটি স্মরণীয় ট্রেন ভ্রমণের সুযোগ পাই, যা আজও আমার মনে গেঁথে আছে।
ঈদের ছুটির সময় আমার বাবা-মা সিদ্ধান্ত নেন চট্টগ্রামে আমাদের দাদাবাড়িতে যাওয়ার। আমরা ঠিক করি ঢাকা থেকে ট্রেনে করে যাব। নির্ধারিত তারিখে আমি ভীষণ উত্তেজিত ছিলাম। সেদিন ভোরে ঘুম থেকে উঠে আমরা কামালাপুর রেলস্টেশনে পৌঁছি সকাল ৬টার দিকে। স্টেশনটি ছিল যাত্রীতে পরিপূর্ণ। কেউ টিকিট কেনায় ব্যস্ত, কেউ আবার নাস্তা কিনছে, আবার কেউ কেউ নিজেদের ট্রেন খুঁজছে। পুরো পরিবেশ ছিল জীবন্ত ও কর্মচঞ্চল।
অল্প কিছুক্ষণ পর আমাদের ট্রেন ‘সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস’ জোরে হুইসেল বাজিয়ে স্টেশনে প্রবেশ করল। আমরা দ্রুত ট্রেনে উঠে নির্ধারিত আসনে বসে পড়ি। সৌভাগ্যবশত আমি জানালার পাশে বসার সুযোগ পাই, যা আমাকে খুব আনন্দিত করে। ট্রেনটি আস্তে আস্তে চলতে শুরু করল এবং পরে গতি বাড়ায়। আমি জানালার বাইরে তাকিয়ে দেখি শহরের দৃশ্যপট ধীরে ধীরে হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে আর সবুজ গ্রামের প্রকৃতি চোখে পড়ে।
ট্রেনটি গ্রামের মধ্য দিয়ে চলছিল। বাইরে দেখা যাচ্ছিল সবুজ ক্ষেত-খামার, নদী-নালা, গাছ-পালা ও ছোট ছোট স্টেশন। কৃষকরা মাঠে কাজ করছিল, শিশুেরা বাড়ির পাশে খেলছিল, অনেকে আবার ট্রেনকে হাত নেড়ে শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছিল। শীতল বাতাস আর ট্রেনের চাকার ছন্দময় শব্দ এক অনন্য অনুভূতির সৃষ্টি করেছিল। আমি আমার মোবাইল দিয়ে কিছু ছবি তুলে স্মৃতিকে ধরে রাখার চেষ্টা করি।
ট্রেনের ভেতরেও পরিবেশ ছিল বেশ শান্তিপূর্ণ ও মজার। কেউ গল্প করছিল, কেউ বই বা পত্রিকা পড়ছিল, কেউবা আবার খাবার খাচ্ছিল। মাঝে মাঝে কিছু বিক্রেতা এসে চা, কফি, বিস্কুট, ফলমূল ও নানা খাবার বিক্রি করছিল। আমরাও কিছু বিস্কুট ও চা খেয়ে নিলাম। সবার মাঝে একধরনের ভ্রাতৃত্ববোধ অনুভব করছিলাম।
প্রায় সাত ঘণ্টা ভ্রমণের পর আমরা দুপুর ২টার দিকে চট্টগ্রাম রেলস্টেশনে পৌঁছি। আমরা আমাদের ব্যাগগুলো নিয়ে ট্রেন থেকে নেমে পড়ি। দাদা আমাদের রিসিভ করতে আগে থেকেই অপেক্ষা করছিলেন। যদিও শরীরটা কিছুটা ক্লান্ত ছিল, তবুও মনটা ছিল আনন্দে ভরপুর।
উপসংহার: ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ একটি মনোমুগ্ধকর অভিজ্ঞতা। এটি আমাদের মনে প্রশান্তি আনে এবং একঘেয়েমি থেকে মুক্তি দেয়। প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য, নতুন নতুন দৃশ্য ও মানুষের জীবনযাত্রা দেখার সুযোগ হয়। আমার জীবনের অন্যতম সেরা অভিজ্ঞতা ছিল এই ট্রেন ভ্রমণ, যা আমি কখনো ভুলব না।
